![]() John has very nice article about it here 3. ![]() What is great on this solution is the fact that it is part of the powerpoint, stays with it even if you move the presentation to another computer and requires no visual basic code in the powerpoint resentation. Animated GIF is basically a movie (if I can call it like that) stored in a picture – you probably saw back in 1999 tons of animated rotating logos on some web pages. This is certainly very interesting and I really like it. To be honest I don’t like this method because it does not easily fit into powerpoint – it’s not part of it and you cannot easily move the counter with the powerpoint presentation (there is almost always some manual step required when you try to). There are some nice apps, you can use Yahoo Widget Google or Windows Widgets or even Flash components (no install required). ![]() It is certainly possible to download application and just run it. There are some workaround, let me try to list few of them here. I am bit surprised Microsoft did not implement this feature in powerpoint long time ago. Wouldn’t it be great if the 5 minutes timer show on the slide so everybody know exactly when the break ends? You go through few slides and then you want to pause for five minutes (maybe a quick break or quiz time). ![]() If you use MS Powerpoint as I do (for presentations) then you will probably never need this, but if you use it as my girlfriend does (for teaching purposes) then you probably ran into this issue before. ![]() ![]() ![]() 7-Zip is a good solution for compressing PDF files that you need to send online, or files that you need to access less frequently. To view the file, you will have to extract it using 7-zip or any other compression tool and the file size will be reverted back to the original. However, it will not actually decrease the size of the original PDF file, it will just compress and save file in a compressed format. As it can compress any file type, it can also compress PDF files. However, it actually increased the size of text based PDF files.ħ-Zip is a popular tool for compressing files and folders while making it easy to send them online. IrfanView works best for graphic intensive PDF documents and we were able to reduce size of 7.4 MB file to as low as 2.4 MB. When you click on “ Save”, the compressed PDF file will be saved to the desired location. Here, select your desired compressions from the the drop down menus next to “Color images” and “Grayscale images”, including Best, High, Medium and Low. Similar to Smallpdf it doesn’t offer much control over the compression, but the default compression settings work flawlessly. ![]() PDF Compressor is a Windows only program that has a very interactive interface, allowing you to upload multiple PDF files and folders for batch processing. This is a rather old tool that hasn’t been updated for a while, but we really loved its ease of use and its ability to highly compress PDF files without losing quality. iLovePDF is arguably better than Smallpdf, but we still rate Smallpdf higher due to its simple processing and balanced compression for all types of PDFs. It allows you to play, crop, and resize your GIFs, using its batch processes. IrfanView is a free digital photo software with the help of which you can easily view your animated GIFs. However, it didn’t work as well for more text-based PDF files and compressed a 911 KB file to 784 KB only. Price: Free 30-day trial / Permanent license 29.95. The compression is quite good as well, we managed to compress a 7.4 MB file to 4.6 MB. Registered users can also upload and compress files in bulk. iLovePDF quickly compresses the file and automatically downloads it to your default download location. You can simply upload a PDF and select one of the three provided compression levels to start the compression process. iLovePDF is a completely free PDF file compressor without any limitations. ILovePDF offers a range of online solutions for PDF and their online PDF compressor is quite amazing. ![]() ![]() ![]() Raise the question of possible effects, either advantageously or adversely, ![]() Although each of the above studies focused onĮxamining which spectral bands may be used for dust detection, a few did Of the above studies, some have speculated about the relationship between water vapor and dust detection.Īn open question centers on the interdependence of water vapor andĭust detection algorithms. ![]() There also exist dust detection algorithms that use a combination of spectral bands that detect both solar reflection and infrared energy (Cho et al., 2013 Rosenfeld, 2008 Chaboureau et al., 2007 Darmenov and Sokolik, 2005 Ackerman, 1997 Legrand et al., 1989 Shenk and Curran, 1974).
